SINGAPOREANS who are in Bangkok are advised to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel within the city, after an assassination attempt on a renegade general unleashed a new wave of violence in the Thai capital on Friday.
Responding to media queries on the extension of the state of emergency that now covers 17 provinces in Thailand, a spokesman for the Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday also urged Singaporeans against non-essential travel to Bangkok.
